Sunday, 17 July

We had an easy start to the morning. I escaped the hostel and went straight to the fruit and veg markets.
I bought some peaches, nectarines, apricots, bananas and a carrot... all for 2.20AUD... Everything I ate was by far the sweetest and most delicious fruit I've had. You know how much of a sucker I am for this stuff, so I don't mind spending time and money hanging out here!

Dylan and I then walked to the beach called Kastelet Beach, and enjoyed a dip with some good company. We found a good ice-cream place on the way home (indulged in Chocolate) !

We came back for a siesta and also to try and plan the next few days. We were hoping to climb the highest mountain in Croatia, with help of the nice lady running the Hostel (Dorris), but that fell through as it was too hard and expensive to organise.

We lined up dinner at a nice restaurant called Sperun, where Josh and Kris joined us.

I ate a oven baked seabass with olives and boiled potatoes, joined with 0.5L of Ozujsko (local beer), total price with 98 koons, which is around $20. (I do apologise for the WCE jumper - all the normal clothes were in the wash!)

Wandered the strip later that night and bought some fairy floss with the boys, and some more ice cream, before heading back to bed!
