Tueday, 28 June

The chances of Ben bumping into someone while walking from his cousins place to the tube station were surely very low - alas he ran into Harrison Kennedy and his family.
It was only because there was a young South Korean tourist who just happened to also be waiting for her friend at Leicester Square station that I waited for Ben so long.

Once I finally caught up with Ben we jumped on the northern line and got off the tube at Camden Station. Here we spent the next few hours exploring the town and the markets which it is renown for. I found a smart little leather note book, which I now use as a sort of diary and carry it everywhere I go – so far!

Ben had been told that the Jamaican food stand here was worth a go, so he tried the chicken and salad on offer for lunch. It was rather spicy, but very similar to nandos!

Took a great little time lapse while eating lunch, will get it up when I’ve put it together. First time on the trip when the weather turned bad; there was some lightening and thunder, but thankfully it never rained like London is notorious for!

After Camden town we headed to Regent Street to have a quick file through the shops and pull in at Fortnum and Masons where we both had a nice pot of tea each. It’s the atmosphere that made the tea – it was a very nice cup of early grey!

We then headed out to Chiswick where Ben is staying with his cousins.

We had a few cocktails before heading across the road to Corvoso’s bar, the pub was an old jail that had been remodeled in a typical engish style pub.

The suburb is famous for having the lead actor of the Kings Speech live close by, and the girls have even served him at the pub!

Caught the tube back and eventually made it home after a long and exciting day!
