Saturday, 9 July

Stayed in a nice little hostel with a kitchen… lots of freedom given to the guests. Had eggs and salami with tomatoes overlooking the whole bay… it was an amazing view. Had a slow morning recovering form the last 48 hours and also skyping Harry to hear the bad news they lost to scotch 3-1!

Again the ocean is glassy and the temperature is in the mid 30’s… this is paradise!

Jumped on the boat eagerly… greeted by a crew of 3 NZ and 17 Aussies! We were shown our sleeping quarters, small and cosy with not much ventilation. We traveled up the coast to the first National Park Port called Polace, which took around 5 hours of slowly putting along to get to.

We stopped for a swim at a nice seaside town along the way and managed to find a few rocks to jump off. The water was so warm and never have I seen clearer water. With my polarized sunnies the water looks dark turquoise in colour, and almost cloud like as there is no wind disturbing the surface. Its truly an amazing thing. Imagine the water between Perth and Rotternest when it is glassy; add blue colouring and you’re halfway there!

Dylan and I enjoyed a seafood and meat pizza from the Pizzeria Kavana Jeguljica while watching the sun-set. The colours were unbelievable and I don’t think I could capture the true beauty of it with my camera! Maybe one day I can persuade the family to come back here with me. Also spotted my dream yacht; a Sun Odyssey 54 moored on the picturesque dock. There are so many yachts cruising through the bays – great motivation to study hard!

Had a beer at the hotel bar overlooking the bay before heading off to the cabins around 11. Took a while to get to sleep in the small bed, but was a much needed one when I finally dozed off!
