Wednesday, 26 October

I couldn't manage to rise at 7am to go for a swim. Instead I lay in bed for a while before getting up and washing my sheets and clothes. In the mean time I headed to Lapo, and thanks to connections, managed to score an avocado to spread on toast with ham, eggs, hash browns and a sprinkle of cheese and S&P. I was getting a little worn out of the omelettes or cereal. It was great to have a change and dam it tasted good.

I browsed the GoPro web site - the new goPro is out and I am going to buy it because I have captured some great memories with my existing one. Thanks Mum.

I headed back to the dorm room, wrote some letters and filled out the pictures which I plan to send home. I also made a little display for on my door, mirroring some of the Australian tourism campaign ads... I'll take a picture and post it up.

I played some table tennis with Lucas in the sub. Something we need back home - an area with pool tables, table tennis tables, slot machines and loud music. I think there might be something like this at the tav, I will have to check it out when I am back.

Lucas beat me, 3-1, 3-0. I need to lift my game.

We went to which wich for lunch. I had roast beef roll.

I went back to the dorm and did a little work, before heading over to Abbys to borrow the car. Lucas came round soon after and we headed off the to Coronado Mall for the afternoon. We window shopped. It was just fun being at the mall... something that I don't really do back home in aus.

We raced back to campus, dropped the car off to Abby and I headed to lapo for a quick feed before rushing to class at 7pm. I just made it on time.

It started to sprinkle with rain on my way. There is a change in the weather.. 10 degs C is foretasted for tomorrow!

We had a big a spill from the lecturer of the 464 unit. The test scores weren't that high, and he was wondering why this was so. In fact he had a little go at the class for not 'studying' as he thought the test was fairly straight forward. This was the unit where we got the 'study guide'.

I ended up getting 75% for it... which of course I was disappointed about. He said there were only a handful of A's (80+) then a dozen or so got B's (>80- 70).

I went back and caught up with Hannah and the others at the dorm. I drew a nice picture of a kangaroo and emu burning a snag on the webber by the beach.

My roomie wasn't in for the night so I made the most of having the room to myself and had a great sleep.
