Tuesday, 11th of October

I woke up early, met Sam in the the gym at 7.30am and had a good abs session. His hand wasn’t broken thankfully and he was able to do a few routines. We enjoyed doughnuts for breakfast from the Lapo dining hall.

I rushed off to my public speaking class where I was once again bored twiddling my thumbs all class. It’s not the most entertaining or appealing class. The teacher had a ‘constructive feedback survey’ and I voiced my opinions. I wanted us to cover the famous speeches in history – “I have a dream”, Gandhi’s speeches and so on. All the famous speeches in history should be covered, after all it was a public speaking class!

I came back to the dorm and did some study before heading off to lunch. It was hard to stay awake in the afternoon reviewing the content for the exam… I sat the test; it was pathetically easy. I got 99/100 for the 20% value exam… If only studies were this easy back home!

I got back and happily waddled off to ultimate frisbee practice. I was feeling good and played well. I scored a handful of end zone touchdowns. I had a quick feed at Lapo on the way back before meeting Lucas at the gym. We had a good chest session. We left sore and exhausted.

We enjoyed dinner with Sara and Katie at Lapo. I got a chicken cooked up fresh for me as there were limited options being served at 8.45pm.

Michael had downloaded the first episode of ‘The Chasers’ new show and I copied it over for a good laugh with Lauren.

I had good nights sleep, and I needed it. Another filled day of achievements and accomplishments!
