The devil inside me had other ideas. I did a load of washing, procrastinated, backed up my computer in case I had an accident with my laptop and a few other miscellaneous things.
I had thought my clocks (both phone and laptop) would update automatically... I was wrong. It wasn't until 12.30 Abq time that I was informed it was actually 1.30pm... So I had lost an hour in the time difference as well.
Hannah took me to the sorority house so I could check it out. It was just like the movies.
I had a nice nap in the afternoon, and opps! It was time to shave and head off to Abby's birthday dinner with the family.
So I didn't actually get any study done, although I did watch some TED talks if that counts.
It was close friends and family for dinner at Abby's house. Nick (dad) was cooking some great steaks (thankfully - I have been longing for a steak!) and a nice salad and asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was a really nice dinner with good company.
We also carved pumpkins in preparation for Halloween! I look forward to having a pumpkin carving night back home next year.

I crashed pretty early and fell asleep as soon as I got back to the dorms.
