I had assignments to do, so I diligently wrote it in the car... It was a 4 and a half hour trip and we only stopped once along the way. Nick drove the whole time. The roads are so straight and separated from the head on traffic so it is much easier to drive long distances without being worn out.
We made it back to UNM around 1pm. I headed straight to T Mobile and recharged - my $15 unlimited texting for the month.
I checked back into the dorm, I was exhausted, but I had a group meeting for the engineering assignment due the next day. We met at 2, divided up the work, then headed back to the dorms to get started on it.
At 3.30pm I had a meeting for our strategic unit. We have a big assignment due on Thursday. I was trying to write my part in one day... which compared to back home, would just not be possible. I got most of it done.
At 8.30pm I picked Sam up and we walked over the Abby's to watch a scary movie. The motivation was after the fun we had at universal studio in LA laughing at the horror movies. Its actually quite fun being scarred.
We started watching "The Shining". The music alone was enough to scare me.
We were all lying on rugs and pillows in front of the tv eating popcorn and treats.
About half way through, in the perfect moment, Lucas bangs on the windows... I jumped so much it was hilarious. He also got me later on by grabbing my arm as he was lying on the couch behind me.
Finally the movie finished - I wont give it away if you haven't seen it yet, as its an all time great. And Jack Nicholson is excellent in the movie.I made it home and had a great night sleep. No scary dreams thankfully.
